well i can say this. the reunion was origanaly dave. then wb convinced ed to bring sam in also. dave was not against it at all which kind of surprised me so what they are doing is calling this a reunion with sam. tickets will sell because there are alot of cheese fans out there.based on ticket sales will determine how they let the cat out of the bag that dave is on the tour with them.they will open with sam half way through the show lights will go out. then hot for teacher will start lights come on dave is at the controls.then expect venues to change to much larger locations. as to who will be the singer after the tour it will be dave.new album and so on thats about all i no right now. i hope that clears things up my trans am driving brother. if you notice sams shitty band is still on the payroll and writing new material. does that sound like he will front vanhalen for good i don't think so.

I'll tell you what, Thats what I thought might be going on when the official VH site first put up that new graphic of the Van hagar logo over top of the old school red striped design. I thought it might be both of them, so Im not giving up hope that Az cardinal is right. I know it wont happen, but i will lie to myself for a couple more months.

Also Im not buying tix to Van Faggot, but if dave does show up my ass will be on ebay, paying top dollar, or in the show parking lot kicking someone's ass and stealing their tickets if I have to.

I live outside Minneapolis where the VanHagar show sold out in less than four hours at the new Excel Energy Center. For those of you unfamilliar with this venue, it's new, large, and beautiful.

The latte-drinking, biscotti-eating crowd thatbought out this show are simply trying to relive their youth, which is hopelessly lost.

I on the otherhand, began scouring the 'net for any hint of Roth in the works. NADA.

The show was promoted as "VanHalen Reunion" on the local stations (rock and classic rock.)

However, after the show sold out, I heard an insidious ad on the radio...

The ad started "VanHalen Is Alex (drum solo), Micheal (bass solo), and Sammy (vocalized scream like uno mas tequilla shoved up his cuolo)... but NO MENTION OF ED !!! it's like they purposely left him out of the commercial. I think ED's OUT for at least this stop!!! I wonder if anybody else has picked up on this?

Can't say nothing more intriguing than that but here in Puerto rico there's a heavy metal station that aired a few days ago a vh special and the comments of the dj where that there will be a lot of surprises on that tour....people won't even imagine what is cooking' at the van halen's camp....it could be bullshit but it is very rare from that station to turn off their audience just like that!!!!!

The idea that Van Halen would say they're going on the road with Hagar only to fool everybody into a head fake and bring Roth out onstage is just ridiculous. Nothing to gain from it. Why would the sisters deny themselves ticket sales by keeping that a secret?
