I've seen various pictures with Eddie playing a Les Paul..
and I wonder are there any special songs he uses it for?

He used the Explorer or was that a Destroyer? for the non-tremelo songs. Like You Really Got Me.

I would imagine it would be the same ones on the Les Paul.

ANSWER:
He used the Les Paul live near the end of the set when his Frankenstrat was out of tune due to his using the whammy bar....this was pre-floyd rose days.....
