I just have to bring attention to this I was reading on this Howard Stern fansite (mark's friggin stern site). Stern was talking to Hagar on the phone and Howard asked Hagar what was his favorite Van Hagar song was and Sammy said "DREAMS".

That just wants to make you puke.

That just has to tell you about what type of lyrical mind we have here.

Dave said Sammy has commited lyrical felonies.

Out of all of Van Hagar's songs Sammy says Dreams is his favorite.
That is just sickening

Another funny thing that happened on the Howard Stern show one time is when Dave was in and Sam was on the phone (right before Sam
and Dave toured together) Howard asked both what is their first song going to be and Sammy said SHACKADUBEEEE (I dont know the exact title) and everyone laughed.
Roth said Hot for Teacher. Everyone got excited.

Shaka Doobie is a Sammy solo song off his most recent CD not a Van Hagar song. Of course Sammy would open with a solo song because he's got balls and Dave is a pussy. Dave could never open with any recent material because it all sucks. dave is a VH cover band at this point in his career and not a very good one at that. The Atomic Punks would blow DLR off the stage.
