View Full Version : Bush is out in 2008, then we can talk shit about the H. Clinton or McCain

Bush can do all the spying he wants to because his term as president will be over in a few years and out he will go. The next election will be a close one between Sen. Hillary Rodam Clinton or Sen. McCain from Arizona. Then we can be all paranoid about whover next gets the big chair in the White House.

Will Bush go down as one of the worst US Presidents? Maybe but I think he will largely be forgotten as time rolls on. Who's to say we wouldn't get bogged down in a simular quagmire with someone else. One thing that happened on 9/11 is it launched the US into the Middle East hard and heavy and that would have happened regardless.

Hillary Clinton will NOT be the Democratic Nominee.

And the only way McCain will be the Republican nominee is if the sane Republicans realize what the BCE has done to their party in the last 50 years, and shut down the whole warmongering fake Christian fascist bullshit machine. And if they were going to do that, no better time to start than right now, with Chimpy, Cheney, Rove, Scooter, DeLay, Jack 'Off, Frist, and all the other ongoing criminal scandals from this sick neocon wing of the party.

Who ever the next President is (assuming we have such a thing as an election, let alone a legitimate one in 2008) will have a tough job trying to clean up the mess left by the BCE.

Clinton spent most of his first term cleaning up Poppy's damage, and Junior's done 1000 times worse than the old man. Can one President undo all that damage, even in 8 years?

As for Dubya's legacy, he will be remembered as one of the most inept presidents in history. By 2008, not many Republicans will claim him...

chosen. I saw a bumper-sticker on the back of a \Cadillac that had
a ..........-Pink- background and said-...........Hillary / Oprah 2008.

The die is cast my friends and with thier sudden outbursts of insanity.
I'm quite possitive......... this is the end .....my friend........ the end.

Not to worry. She STILL won't win.

Sorry, kiddos, America's just not ready for a female president yet. 25-50 years, maybe...

And that will mean the Dems will put up another candidate that has no chance of winning. Same old song and dance...

Goddamnit I already have it. :). Auctually I've know about the BCE since like June last year, plus you and FORD use the term constantly so I picked up on it fairly easy. I auctually looked it up on Google and it had nothing to do with Bush at all lol.

Clinton's first term was a failure, by any measure. The only reason he was reelected was because the Republicans trotted out 500 year old Robert Dole as their nominee.

McCain dosen't have shot in hell to win the republican nomination. Hilary has a big chance of winning the DNC nom. Look of Va Sen George Allen to be a runner for the republican nomination.

Ford it's not the same thing at all.

I forgot they were electing this week.

Minority right government in response to corruption?

With all due respect to our Canadian cousins personally it doesn't affect me. It's only the UK and US elections that really change shit in my country.

Cheers!

Thankfully, FORD, it's a very small minority. He won't be able to make the changes to our Rights & Freedoms that he would like to, the other parties will ban together and stop that from happening. Don't forget, our right is closer to your centre. Harper is a Libertarian, I figure we'll be back at the polls within the next 1.5 to 2 years.

If she wins the leadership it will hurt the Libs.

Remember, she only became interested in politics a few years ago.

The Libs have a habit of putting millionaires in as leader....I think we have had enough.

Believe it or not I find someone like Ralph Goodale more deserving of the post...he will not run for it though.
Even through the Income trust scandal I think he was not as involved as someone else in the PMO.
He is someone in the Liberal Party I can respect.

someone like Anne McLellan or Reg Alcock deserved to get voted out.
I enjoyed a beer when Annie lost...she is a horrible human being.
