Bloodrock
I posted this song on another thread (Most Haunting song) and if you haven't heard check it out. It's a first person account of a plane crash and death. The song made it to #36 on the Billboard singles chart in 1971, which is quite shocking after you hear the song. These guys also released 6 albums in 3 years (70-72). All of them charted.

Stone Fury

back in 1981 robert stoddard released the song l.a.p.d as a single on electra, it was used in a movie (can't remember which one - garbage man could say)
anyways robert stoddard was the origional guitarist in the dogs d'amour and was guitarist in la guns during the paul black era and hence when he joined the band brought this song to the band. the la guns version can be heard on the black list cd or at paul blacks myspace page - http://www.myspace.com/paulblackslaguns

We are more likely to vomit on a cd that contains material from either version of "vh".
That is, before throwing it into a shredder and then dumping it into a metal foundry so the molecules get so dispersed they will never be recognized as having been a part of an audio cd containing that mung...
