We MUST get this confirmed! I'm going to check this out.

IF this is ROTH....we should all plan to get together at a specific concert.

Douggie T....keep us posted and I'll do the same. I could swear DLR mentioned "Journey" this morning....

????hmmmmmmmmmm

WOOT!!!

Have not seen Uncle Dave since the Spam & Dave Tour.

I am way overdue for a fix.

The only thing is.....They'll make ROTH go on first, unless they do the Sam & Dave Tour thing of taking turns.

If ROTH goes on first, I'll leave after....no excitement to see Journey.

If he's touring with Journey, he better get the roadies some scarves. In case all of you who read the "CFTH" autobiography know what I'm talking about.

I don't mind some Classic JOURNEY, with STEVE PERRY. But they have some poser singing now...

So yes, that would be a big draw back. But I'm chompin' at the bit for a DAVE show... He hasn't been here since the SAM&DAVE thingy, of wait, they cancelled.:( I have to admit I'm still a bit sour over that...

Well, they don't have Steve Perry to fuck with this time about it... :D

I also hear that the Lep/Journey tour is a co-headline tour?? Where in the hell is Journey going to be the headliner over Lep, especially without Steve Perry?

San Francisco maybe? California dates?

maybe they'll be playing minor league baseball parks like last summer's Def Lep/Bryan Adams tour.

Would it really matter WHO headlines at this point?

Can't imagine tickets are going to be scarce at any of the gigs..

A friend of mine who lives down the road from me is Charlie Daniels FOH sound man. Another friend was Charlie's lead guitarist, until he left to form another band called Hot Apple Pie.

It's gonna be a grate rest-of-the-year anyway.

I'm gonna see the classic ANTHRAX next month, then Clapton on summer (without rest of the Cream though) and IRON MAIDEN for the first time in my life in November.

Oh yeah, and WASP plus TWISTED SISTER are cumming to Funland as well!!!

GO 80's!!!

This is quite the shock considering that Journey is basically your average Casino headline band. I listened to the first 2 albums of
Journey and they were really good considering they were heavier than
the ones with Steve Perry. There is one fest in Italy that has Guns and Roses headlining with Def Leppard. This summer better have some decent shows especially with Maiden coming around for another show!
