I'm guessing Brett feels his members don't like having to wade through a lot of anti-Sam/anti-Dave stuff to find the better topics. My personal preference is that whatever is posted is posted; If it's not a good topic, it falls off the page, but his forums seem to only list like ten or less threads per page, but I'm guessing this is something that can be changed in my preferences somehow.

I dunno, I can see where having to read anti-Sam/anti-Dave stuff all the time might get old, and if he doesn't want flaming on his board, that's his prerogative (he's footing the bill).

Personally I'm of the opinion that there's plenty of positive things you can discuss, no matter what type of fan you are, that there's no point in rehashing the negative repeatedly... but ranting is theraputic, so if you need to get it off your chest, by all means, rant.

In my opinion, the Pasture Dump is not coming back because they know that Roth fans like me are going to condemn the Van Hagar reunion. There's already a Van HALEN site (here) and a Van Hagar site (the Links) anyway, so there really isn't a need for the Dump.
