The only problems I have with her synopsis......

1) She correctly points to the problem being between 21st century minds and the primitives, but it's wrong to assume that all the primitives are in the Muslim camp.

Look at the "Red/Blue" divide in your own country. A lot of the issues come down to half the country believing a fucked up interpretation of something that was written on some scroll 4,000 years ago, and then translated a dozen times, before they ever saw it. And even then, some of them never actually SAW it, because they only "read" the book in the context of the cherry picked verses that their right wing pastor throws at them on any given Sunday.

2) The last paragraph of her article is totally false in her implication that only Muslims are violent. Granted, Buddhists are mostly peaceful people, but anyone who claims Jews never attack anyone obviously hasn't heard of Mossad, the IDF, the Likud Party, Jenin, Sabra & Shatilla, and numerous other places and people a Devil could mention. And as for those who call themselves "Christians", just look at the Chimp, and that's all you need to answer that question.

I'm guessing the author is one of those Chalabi types, "exiled" from her native country as a child, hasn't set foot in that hemisphere since, but considers herself an "expert" on everything that happens there.

Probably not wanted for bank robbery in Jordan though.
