His show was original and great and now these fat cat

I sure hope some other station makes him an offer and
gives him his freedom as an artist. Hes working for racist

Just seems odd that CBS is gonna wanna tinker around with it...didn't these guys do any research and take a look at what they were getting when they signed up Dave? It's as if they just want the name-recognition factor Roth brings without the rest of the package...

That's corporate radio for you, though. Blandness and conformity is in. Part of why it seemed odd to me from the get-go that Dave took the gig...

Would be better off to let him do whatever he wants; at the very least it is gonna be more interesting than every other morning dj talk show format and content out there, where they're all trying to be Howard Stern, Don Imus and the Jerky Boys all wrapped into one, and failing miserably at it, too.

Roth is unique, has talent and individuality. These aren't exactly traits prized by many media outlets.

This has nothing to do with just "moving to another station."

Unfortunately, the radio industry is dominated by a few big players in the form of CBS, Clear channel, etc... who own the lion's share of the major market stations.

And the suits are all the same...just filled with different names and faces.

Dave won't find satisfaction no matter where he goes.

The only place DLR could find that would allow him to do his "stream of consciousness" style riffing and shit would be a college radio station or satellite.

Or the internet....

From what I heard, he has an 8 million dollar contract. That is why they want him to quit. Even Howard Stern was screaming that they better pay him if they fire him. I would sit there and repeat the same word over and over again for 8 mill. If he can hang in there he wins. The longer he is there the worse it is for them, until he can do his thing again. Look what they did to stern
