        Nothing beats One-on-One guitar lessons....

        Tabs are just another learning tool...NOTHING can replace sitting down and figuring out parts on your own.....

        And...it never hurts to try new learning tools...DVDs & the like...

        GUITAR WORLD & GUITARONE both come with CD-ROMS with the likes of JOE SATRIANI & ANDY ALEDORT showing you how to play CLASSICS.........

        Use whatever you feel comfortable with.....

            Also check out Power Tab Editor and Guitar Pro. Both programs will actually play the tab and notation for you.
