I love hot sauce, but is that all that's made in this country anymore?

Here's one of my favorite hot sauces.... designed for Asian food, but good in just about anything.....

And don't worry about the Asian writing on the bottle, it's made in California.

It can be found in many grocery store chains now and in all Asian markets. You can't go wrong with this shit!

We had a pretty big wave of Asian immigration around here in the late 70's and early 80's. As a result, a lot of kick ass restaraunts opened up here over the years. Vietnamese, Korean, Thai, etc.

Srirachi can be lethal to the uninitiated though. First time I tried it, my tolerance for hot peppers was much lower. I saw this red sauce and assumed it was a salsa of some kind, and put a huge blob of it on my Yakisoba noodles.....

....My tastebuds started working again in about a week. They were completely fried. That's when I set a goal to build a tolerance for that stuff. Now I put it on damn near everything.

Healthy too, great for the circulation, and garlic in any form boosts the immune system.

Which reminds me, it's dinner time.......

I'm so sick of seeing made in China that I get super excited when the product says made in Canada or Mexico.
