What would you say if you met DLR?

    This is purely curiosity.

What the fuck would you say if you met DLR?

Or if you have met him, what did you say/do?

Met Slash once, and I was totally speechless, made a complete dick out of myself!

    I would say "yes." :p

With Dave, would you get three words in edgewise? More than likely he'd be yapping enough where you could respond at some point and not stand there with your mouth open looking like an idiot.
    Same ole song and dance...

I'd go right up and grab his head and pull it toward me for a nice big kiss...like he demonstrated to the "GIRL with the Boy's Haircut" in SLAM DUNK from FINLAND.

I'd thank him for making some of the greatest music in Rock&Roll.

And tell him he's the greatest frontman/performer to ever take the stage !

Roth on people , it's great to be back !

Humm........................after some thought, I think I would ask him if he regreted leaving the mighty Van Halen (for whatever reason......IE: musical stalemate, proposed movie deal, etc.).

Personally, (off the record of course) I think he would say yes (career wise). I say this only due to the fact that he wrote/recorded "Damn Good" only 3 years after the split (which was aimed directly to band itself, not individuals in within it). I loved his career following the breakup, though DLR made a huge career blunder if you ask me. Unless.......................you go along with the whole "conspiracy theory" of him being "forced out".

I'd ask him if he wanted a drink...and if he needed me to ride shotgun when he drives up to Howdy Dowdy Mountain to kick some ass....

Well guys don't lik to brag but I met DLR a couple of years ago, on his last tour in England.

What an experience, never met anyone more alive, if you know what I mean!

Pretty much thanked him for the music, and tried to act like I wasn't completly overawed!

Then he told me my girlfriend was hot!

                I was pleased, she wasn't!

My girlfriend was stood next to me, as she was a little pissed at the remark

Somewhat of a part time feminist,

ie when it suits her to be!

I bet it was worth the grief from your girlfriend though?
