    These rumours of Dave and the band together again onstage would be great; however, you'd think that after dave had just got through taking them to court (yes I know dave dropped it but still...) the Van Halen's would be bitter...VERY bitter at that towards Dave. Maybe azcrdnl can explain that to us. Not tryin to be rude, just a thought.

    Yeah, well, the way Dave tells it, Van Halen's contract was renegotiated with Warner Brothers in the 1990s and gave Dave a smaller percentage of the royalties vs. Ed, Mike and Al for all the back catalog sales, as opposed to the equal split all four had previously enjoyed.

    If Ed and Co. were aware about it or not is a moot point, as not being aware of what's being done in your name is not an excuse.

    Roth had every right to sue, and it's too bad the suit was dropped.
