Ok guys had an idea.
How about a threadf where we list those little gems that only we know about, you know bands/ albums that you really dig but no-one else has heard of or gives a shit about.
Here are some off the top of my head:
The Almighty "Crank"
Refused "The Shape of Punk to Come"
Skid Row "Subhuman Race" (not a great record for this band, but killer nonetheless. Sometimes band go out of what you expect from them but still make a good record)
Crowbar "Odd Fellows Rest" (IMO their strongest record)
1st Vain record
Ted Nugent "Free for All"
Love/Hate "Blackout" (This is a forgotten gem)
Salty Dog "Salty Dog"
Badlands "Badlands"
Anyone else got some hidden classics?

AC/DC Powerage is the most underrated album ever. A great bluesinspired rock n roll album that is always overseen compared to HIghway To Hell and Back in Black.

My usual addition: Pride And Glory, a most excellent Zakk Wylde project/album. Book Of Shadows by Zakk is also very good.
The Tea Party, from Canada, has a number of good albums but Edges Of Twilight would be the one I recommend most.
Love Powerage and agree that it's underated.

'yep that Pride & Glory album is killer, saw 'em at Donnigton way back when, (94 I think) and Zakk was amazing, one of the best players I've ever seen.
good call on UFO
