Fuck Pete for continuing to milk the name of "The Who".

Zappa is a SICK guitarist. Way better than Vaughn or May.

This is the big one, bound to start some debates.

I went with May

I think he i an awesome player, just not as awesome as the others up there.

And IMO Queen sucked after "The Works"

Out of interest guys, why Kirk?

Not saying I think it's a bad choice, just interested in the criteria

Bye Brian

How can a band who were already one of the biggest in the world be a sellout?

Kirk. He just sucks, doesn't he?

I can see a lot of bad karma being sent Brian May's way. I'd just like to say that I can see sense in most of the things Brian has done with the Queen name over the past few years (bearing in mind that a lot of it has been for AIDs charities). Of course, I don't count him doing We Will Rock You with 5ive in that.

Kirk for being ordinary.

Easy starter, WARF?

The next round will be a lot trickier.

Ok, I can see why you would think he is ordinary.

WARF? this is another great thread.

I know you only got room for 10 players, but why no SLASH dude?

Shaun Ponsonby

Cos Slash is probably the nicest guy in the world.

binnie

The musical stuff is annoying, brings down the name

of a great band imo

I don't know. Queen were always about theatrics as well. I think the musical was quite a good idea.

Then again, things like this have split the fans. I think it depends on if you agree with the reasons behind it.

brian may is one of the greatest and best personalities in the fucking music biz! he never put down the name of the band or disrespected freddie and his legacy...

he went on tour with paul rogers, yes...but it was called queen & paul rogers...and he was just a man who wanted to play his music live for his fans...and he waited long enough to pay condolences to mercury...

and he is one of the guitar players you just need to hear ONE chord to know "hey...that's brian may"...

Angus. Those 3 chords were great on Highway to Hell and Back in Black, (maybe even Flick of the Switch) but come on dude, mix it up a little. And toss your singer. Ever since he started gargling with rusty nails and shards of glass, it's been unlistenable.

Look at the entire list.

Look at the innovators.

Look at the motivators.

Ever heard Kirk's name and the term "Guitar God" in the same sentence?

He's burning.
