Shit, Dave was doing 18 and 19 song setlists in 2002 in a 90 minute slot, so even if CVH did 2 1/2 hours, they should be able to fit everything I listed in.

Hey, fuck it, cut the bass and drum solos (just cut 'em anyway - waste of concert time - and neither AVH nor MA do anything spectacular with 'em anyway). Can't realistically expect Ed to cut his guitar solo out of the show...but even so, that's not too many tunes to expect from a 150 minute show, and if CVH reunites, I expect no less than 2 hours.

They are bound to mix in some Van Hagar. I think it would be interesting to see Dave's flavor on some of those songs. 5150 has some great riffs.

Since our setlists will all be fairly similar, let's change it up. Say Dave has agreed to sing 4-5 Hagar era songs. Which ones would you want him to do?

That could be one of the major sticking points that has kept it from happening. Hey, if thats what it takes to get it done, I say just do it. Dave could have some fun with a few of those songs. Plus it gives us a chance to run to the concession stand to get more beers.

However, none of it means shit until Edward gets his collective shit together. I mean Dave and Michael Anthony can only do so much to carry a show.

Maybe they should prop Edward up a'la Hannibal Lecter whilst holding his striped Frankenstrat (unplugged of course) pretending to play and have Walsh really play from the sidelines?

We'd get to see Dave and that's all that really matters anyway right?
