    Thin Lizzy

After enjoying the History Episodes of Metal on VH-1 which showed Thin Lizzy doing their thing, I decided to pull some of their tunes into rotation this weekend. What great stufff... If you haven't listened to any of their stuff, check out "Jail Break" for starters..

    Grate Stuff Indeed..

    Couldn't agree more.

Great songs and the vocal delivery is exceptional, Phil could really put a song across, just like Dave.

    also try

    Bad Reputation

    Johny the Fox

    Fighting

    All great albums

Seek out the full length version of "The Rocker", the version on most compilations is the single edit which cuts out the guitar solo.

People rarely talk about Eric Bell as one of the greatest Lizzy guitarists, but his psychedelic wah-wah work in "The Rocker" guitar break is probably the best solo in any Thin Lizzy song.
