The second chorus where he sings "can't you see what I meeeeeaaaaannnn" he changes the note up rather than holding it steady. Never heard him do that before. Sounds cool. Really shows a bit more range from him.
About 1:54 of the video.Last edited by sadaist; 06-12-2006, 01:17 PM.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

This is my least favorite part of the song! Sounds like he's switched to singing "Can't you see what I mane?!" he does it on the album to! we singers do that sometimes to help smooth things out ... however this time it bugs me!Comment

All is well indeed! thanks! Rainy rainy rainy if that's why you ask ... Tropical storm Alberto got me wet while running thru the wal-Mart lot today! Nothing major yet!
You know I am among the "more tha a fan than I need to be" DAVE club! It's not a bad thing to sing words funny during songs!
Consider CVH's jamie's Cryin' (not cryinG)
"She saw that look in his eye's .... and she knew bettuh ... he wanted her tonight ... and it was now or nevuh! ....
"She wants to send him a letta ... just to try to make herself feel betta!"
You hear no "R"s first verse!
This verse he emphasizes the "R"s a little more!
"Now jamie wouldn't say alright! She knew he's forget heR!"
So they said "good night" and now he's gone foreveRrrr!
She wants to send him a lett'R, just to try to make herself feel betteR!
But she knows what that'll get uurr!
"R" are what it's all about here:
Now jamies been in love befoRe and she knows what love is foRe!
It should mean a lil a lil moRe!
then it's back to "uh"s instead of "R's!
The "Can't you see what I Maine!" In the new JUMP isn't working for me! Also if you listen to this ^ TV version it sounds as tho' he sings "And I know .... eww baby just how you fail!"
Things only singers notice .... like when some talk about parts of guitar solo's I never would have noticed!
