I've been listening to some stuff my dad sent me, and I was just wondering if anybody liked .38 Special? I dig them cause it's southern arena rock, but it's not TOO southern. Tell me what you think, hate em, love em, whatever the fuck you want

Wild Eyed Souther Boys is an EXCELLENT album.

I like them. Only ever had one album. But whenever they come on the radio, I don't flip stations.

they still tour. they have a live cd from sturgis. it's pretty good.

These dudes were up this way only a few weeks ago. I did'nt catch the show though...

I have their one album and it had heavy rotation back in the day. :)

Gotta give some credit to the younger Van Zant brother (Donnie) who formed his own band, rather than leech off his brother's corpse. 38 Special certainly was no Skynyrd, but they did some decent songs. The one video I remember had this hot redhead chick who ended up being Bruce Springsteen's first wife.

that's a shame! they just gave away a free concert in downtown orlando. Peter Frampton was there the year before!
