    James Gang?

The guys all sat around last night and after rounds of beers...

We were jammin' to "Tend My Garden". Kind of a prelude to "The Confessor"

    Anyone dig them?

About the only thing I'm actually familiar with is Walk Away...I still hear that on the classic rock radio channel here from time to time...

Ive seen Joe Walsh 5 or six times he is a funny cat :::

Every year at the beginning of the summer outdoor concerts at
the ampitheater here in KC Joe would be the first act and the first
show every year to open the season.

He would usually host a couple hrs in the morning on a radio station here in town for a couple days before the opening ,he is one funny
cat with a good sense of humor. He may be a brilliant arranger and
writer and musician, Brilliant! he is also a fun cat to see live.

            James Gang tunes Rock live.

              James Gang were great.

So is Walsh in general. In fact, I'd say I dig his James Gang and solo stuff FAR more than what he did with the Eagles.

I remember reading an interview with Townshend where he said he was blown away with the James Gang sound, and hooked up with Walsh, who gave him a couple of Les Pauls and some amps he was using, and showed Pete how to get that 'James Gang sound'. Pete then said he used that sound and equipment for the recording of Who's Next.

James Gang actually supported The Who in the UK. Townshened said "They may have blown us off every night, but, who cares? They were great."...or something along those lines.

Tend my Garden is an excellent tune.

The organ and the handclap section sounds like the inspiration for a section in Boston's More than a Feeling, to me anyway.

The Bomber is classic, as is Stop, Funk 49, etc.
