Hey. Anybody seen the first shows? Would love to hear what it sounded like and what it looked like. How's the new band? So many questions...

I just posted about the show I saw . I don't know the band members names but the guys playing guitars are the same guys as his last time out but I don't know if the drummer and bass player are the same. The drummer was Degrasso (? I think) I was totally sober at the show but I was so in awe because they were totally jamming and I was front and center I just had 2 people between the barricade and myself. The only bad part (if you want to say that ) was the show was outside and he went on at 8:30 so it was still daylight so there really wasn't a light show. I didn't miss it but I would like to see the show again with lights. I can't even remember what he opened with other than the band came out ,fired up like crazy , Dave walked out and everybodies going crazy and the band is jammin' away then they suddenly stop and Dave says "how we doin' so far" and the crowd goes crazy . Then I think they did Hot for Teacher . It was awesome!

No , they opened a bottle of Jack and poured a glass of it ( I suppose for him) right before he came onstage but I never saw him drink it . I don't think he ever touched the bottle. I didn't get pictures but a guy next to me took a shitload of em that probably were great because they looked great on the monitor screen. A lot of people were taking pictures and there was probably 4 or 5 professional photog's inside the barricade taking pictures also.

summerfest show rocked. had some glitchs , and the cradle will rock taped intro got messed up threw the whole band off.
enter Dave call that a union mistake. then the 1984/ jump intro
sound off and sounded way to slow. no jack, he left mean street
off the set list but he did drink enough of it. opened with hft
then cali girls, just like paradise, beautiful girls, he sounded awesome on dtna , sounded like the boys in 79". he told some good stories. Todd jensen on bass is really good vocally.hopefully
they have there shit stright in oshkosh on thursday.

He did do the pole thing at the end + he wore a robe from 1984
tour. HE CAME OUT AND WALKED UP TO THE EDGE OF THE STAGE
AND SAID LOOK IT ALL THE PEOPLE HERE TO TONITE!!!! THAT I
GIVE YOU SOME MORE. OSHKOSH HERE WE COME. I'M BRING MY
12 YR OLD SON HE LIKES STARSHIP. BUT HE WILL BE A ROTH FAN
AT THE END!

Well thaks for those reports. Wish I was in the US to see one of he shows.. 1984 robe, sounds cool, must have been the one he came in wearing at the Stockholm show...

Roth tonite Oshkosh. Let's ROCK!!!

hey, the oshkosh show went off without any glitchs. dave was in
a good mood doing about 8 roundhouse kicks and plenty of
other types of kicks . same set. as saturday. no robe. since it was about 70 at show time. i was front row on brian'S side.
have cool pics. actually touched him. he would not touch or shake hands with anybody. he had security boot some couple for takeing pics, some girl ran onto to stage will he sang jump and he ad lib the words to , who the hell is she instead of got my back against the record machine. typically roth. they sounded awesome.
ice cream man , dtna, yrgm, panama, were highlights.as for my son he was not impressed .
