Are the Marlins just prepping Joe Girardi for the Yankees?

Okay...a year or so ago...I said this guy was a natural to take over for the Yankees...then they let him go to Florida...

    which looked like a career-ender...

and bam...Girardi has taken a young club...is winning...and to top it off...is still developing those young guys...

How many people think this guy is the heir apparent in NY????

Or will someone steal him away...

He could be the perfect guy to help develop a younger team...if they ever go that route...which I doubt...

    I don't know...

you know how those Yankee guys are...
"Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."

I always figured Girardi would be the guy to take over when Torre leaves. What is about those ex-catchers that make them good coaches?
