....when you actually meet somebody from the sites?
Tonight, after many months of threatening, NickDFresh and Shoes went out for a beer. Long overdue, we live in the same small town, literally less than a mile away from each other.
Shoes wore her "It ain't Van Halen" shirt, which sparked two lengthy conversations, one within five seconds of entering the bar with a lone drunk guy who claimed to play as well as Eddie, but did mention Hagar. The second, with a biker guy at length about the possibility of a reunion, in which biker guy quoted Dave's "I am the party". We handed out website addresses - such loyalty deserves some direction.
