    Saw Classic VH Photographer Neil Zlozower at NYC show

    I was right up front at the Nokia Theater show and halfway through I noticed someone who looked familiar off to the left side of the stage behind a speaker. I realized it was Neil Zlozower, the guy who took a ton of famous Dave photos since '78. He wasn't taking photos, looked to be a guest of Dave's and was just enjoying the show from the side of the stage.

    Good show by the way. A couple of guys walked out on the show when Dave played the bluegrass stuff (one guy was really pissed waving his hand at Dave as if to say he was never a fan again) but most of the crowd was clapping and singing along. Dave looked awesome and it was another solid performance by the mighty DLR!

          The drama queen leaving the show because of the bluegrass tunes sounds like a total fucking douchebag. What the hell is he tryin' to prove. Does he think Roth gives a fuck about his 'protest?' You've got to be fuckin' kiddin' me. Prolly some derelict hick who should go ahead on back to hell--one way ticket to hell, dumbass.

                  He was definitely a douche bag. Fat, balding clown with a 20 year old concert shirt on still trying to look cool.

                  He wanted everyone to see him waving off Dave and I was thinking what you guys were: "Nobody here (especially Dave) cares." He looked like he'd been living in a cave for 20 years so I guess he didn't know Dave is promoting a bluegrass cd. If he did, he shouldn't have bought the ticket 'cuz there was a good chance the bluegrass songs were gonna happen.

                  The funniest thing about it was that he didn't do the same when Dave played Just A Gigolo and when you think about it, what's the difference between the two as far as steering away from Dave's hard-rockin' sound? Dave's taken these chances before, no surprise to see him try this.

                  Besides, he was in the minority. Most people there had a good time when Dave busted out the bluegrass, myself included.

                                  oh man that guy was in the front row with me and my girl he kept humping the guard rail and he fuckin stank once dave did the bluegrass he fuckin left...he was all pissed off but thank god..gave all us front row ppl some relief
