I guess Titney wanted to keep the "good girl" thing going, so she hid the message. The others, I'm not too sure about

it's all down to interpretation.....none of it is true....

if you listened to most 'backward messages' before actually knowing the lyrics beforehand, it would sound like gibberish....it's psychological....

but there are some actual backwards messages, such as the one on Pink Floyd's Empty Spaces....
