English Premiership new boys Watford re-signed their former player Tommy Smith from Derby on Wednesday.
Smith, 26, agreed a four-year contract with Adrian Boothroyd's side and returns to Vicarage Road for a fee of around 500,000 pounds.
The winger spent six seasons with Watford before joining Sunderland on a free transfer in September 2003.
