What the fuck ever happened to that new album that AC/DC was supposed to have released two years ago? They keep moving the release date up...last I heard Christmas of this year, then first of next year...they're getting nearly as bad as Guns N' Roses with Chinese Democracy! Anyone have any news? I can't find any on the net.

They said as of a year ago, they had enough new material for a double album, and they wanted to release it all in that format.

AC/DC have nothing left to prove. Any new albums are
just a bonus for us now. They still kick ass live, have
recorded more rock classics than any other hard rock
band.. Dunno what more you can say ??
Imagine if CVH had recorded the same amount of
albums and killer songs ? We wouldnt be here bitching
at all..

AC/DC have been sounding the same for practically their entire career. That's not necessarily a bad thing since their career includes some of the biggest classics of all time, but doing the same thing for almost 40 years can get old atleast on record.dm/dt=kA (Cs-C)Comment

They probably brought back mutt lange! Hopefully, this is the reason it's taking so long! This is probably going to be their last release of new material, So of course they want it classsic! It better be a double and quality! I'll take it and one last tour so I can take my wife(she never saw them)! But guys let change the FUCKIN SAME OLD SET LIST!! No more jack, rosie, dirty deeds! Whatever happened to let's get it up, evil walks, fly on the wall, even moneytalks will work! Keep in mind that ids for the brain era, we cneed some old rare Bon tunes! Last I heard, they'd finished writing but hadn't startede recording, but your guess is as good as mine.
There's also a rumour that they'll hadline Donington next year
