ya, I was suprised about that. I have listened to alot of daves stuff since he came back on the scene from a break and his wails were not there early on.

2002 I didnt remember hearing alot of it but in that song he does alot and he keeps the song faithful to the original without funny business.

didnt remember him sounding so good in 2002 on tour. been a while since I listened though. good stuff!!!

Not taking anything away from Dave but that was 4 years ago dude,
Dave drinks jack danienls and smokes bit havana cigars ffs!
As each year passes by you get a little less out of Dave.

It's not his fault it is just that he cast such a HUGE shadow that most vocalist are struggling to get out from (ask sammy) that even he finds it hard now to live up to the *legend* .

CVH must get together asap......................

some of this is true. but.... dave could concentrate more on the music and sing the songs like they are meant to be. dave can still sing really good.

Have to disagree with katie; lot of the raspiness I heard in Daves voice in 2002 hasn't been there the last two times I saw him in the past year. Far as getting a little less out of Dave each time around the concert circuit, I'm not quite seeing what she is...not at all.
