David Malcolm Roth is the third-generation son of Russian and Scottish immigrants who arrived in America via Ellis Island and whose families eventually made their way to Southern California where David was born.

David’s decision to run for Congress was inspired in part by his family’s legacy of service to the United States. David’s Grandfather, Albert Roth, worked as translator for the CIA for over 30 years and his uncle, Major General Theodore Bedwell, served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. David’s father Richard served our nation in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
