Yeah I took the plunge and went with it last night, I have to hack back in a bunch of stuff, but it's ridiculously faster than the older versions.

Might be harder on this board, because this is a version 2 vB, mine was a version 3.

The more modified the board from standard the more work. We were quoted a good few hundred bucks for our site because of that so I think this place would be more expensive or time consuming.

I wouldn't hold your breath on this place being upgraded. I'm not sure Sarge even bought a license for the VB here in the first place never mind an upgrade...:)

Dude I went from a stock board and got almost all my hacks back in with simple plugins in less than a few hours, it's so much easier now. And a lot of stuff that we all had to hack in is now stock too. It's worth taking the chance on it, I was worried myself.
