WASHINGTON (AP) — Congressman Bob Ney has pleaded guilty to bribery charges in the Jack Abramoff influence-peddling scandal.
The Ohio Republican becomes the first member of Congress to plead guilty or be convicted in the scandal that has tainted the White House as well as Capitol Hill. He faces up to ten years in prison.
