Thanks so much for posting up that awesome video! I haven't seen it in so long and I did some research on the band. They seem almost like a German equivalency to Judas Priest (the lead singer resembles and sounds like Halford in some ways) and they reunited last year for a metal tour of Europe. BTW, their reunion was with the classic line-up so another band should do the same thing.....

Thanks DC for that one, that reminds me of cool memories of the private parties I had when I was 14, the song was a must.
Ha! Ha! When it would be played, the girls would go and sit down or go to the bathroom while we boys would jump around like loonies. :D
How weird it was that such different tunes like "Balls to the wall", Foreigner's pussy ballad of the time, Madonna, ZZ Top, those fags of Wham, the Scorps ("Rock you like a hurricane"), Eurythmics, or even CVH ("Jump" was inevitable of course) could be played back to back... :D

It's true that "Balls to the wall" is clearly AC/DC-ish, in the right sense: it's all in the precept "Less is mor".
In music, the principle makes wonders IMO, in CCR, the Stones (it's obviously Keith's thing) or AC/DC.

Basically, it's all about playing no more chords and notes than really needed, for maximum efficiency and intensity.
I personally avoid overloaded stuff, like there are too many examples of in hard rock.

In whatever style, music needs some AIR. :)

I probably discovered the two songs at about the same time. Balls & '74 Jailbreak both released (in the States anyway) in 1984.

"Jailbreak" seems to have originally been released on Dirty Deeds in OZ. But I probably don't need to tell you that. (Are there any OZ only AC/DC releases in print? T.N.T.?)

The songs do have some similarities, now that you mention it.

Much like the first 6 VH records, I never grow tired of these songs.

Umm, sure. Bound to Fail, Fast as a Shark, Too High to Get It Right, Losers and Winners, Objection Overruled, and this one to name a few:

Video's annoying as hell, but the song is the perfect blend of melody and attitude.

Hopefully my old mate FORD drops in on this thread,
he actually knows more about the AC/DC Aussie releases
than I do ! :)

I never got to see Accept or Udo live.
