Once Again, GARTH BROOKS shows how a box set is done

Garth Brooks is about to release a 5-DVD box set for the incredibly low price of $19.96

    The DVD's include:
Disc I: Reunion Arena, Dallas, TX 09/1991
Disc II: Texas Stadium, Irving, TX 09/1993
Disc III: Croke Park, Dublin, Ireland 05/1997
Disc IV: Central Park, New York, NY 08/1997
    Disc V: Video Greatest Hits 1989 - 2005

Only the first two discs were released previously in VHS form and have been out of print for years. The Central Park show alone is worth the price.

Certain bands (ahem) could learn from the way Garth delivers to his loyal fans.

Unfortunately, there is a little bit of bad news about this release......

    It's only available at Wal-Mart

    Release date: November 1, 2006

Knowing what a greedy motherfucker Chaim Witz is, you can bet the KISS box ain't going to be 20 bucks, even for 2 DVD's.

Garth Brooks, being a huge KISS fan himself, should call them on it, if they price it too high.

"Hey Gene..... I know you got a lot more money than me so, if I can put out a 5 DVD box set for $20, why can't you do that for 2 DVD's??"

I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about Garth and bought a ticket to one night of a 5-night stand in Wichita, KS back in the late 90s.

It was TOTALLY reserved seating, and the ushers were being quite militant.

Anyway, I only could handle about 45 minutes of his show. Not because of him, but because some fucking drunk bitch right behind could not stop screaming at him at the top of her lungs (we were at the back end of the arena).

                Fucking drunk bitch.

Keep in mind he has a degree in marketing from the University of Oklahoma.

He knows how to promote himself.

But above all....he treats his fans better that anyone else.

I HATE country music... I'd rather DIE than listen to country music...

But, God help me, I'm finding hard not to buy this shit...

                  Cheers! :bottle:

I mean, it's a great deal, but unless you're a fan of Brooks, it's irrelevant.

You can put a lump of shit in a nice box with a bow, but inside it's still shit.

I can't wait for this set either, but I wonder why they ommitted "beth" from the Paul Lynde special? I remember watching it as a kid. Seems to me they also did Detroit Rock City, which is not there.

Actually, those are the two songs I remember them doing. I didn't even remember King of the Night Time World. They probably left "Beth" out so they wouldn't have to pay Peter Criss any royalties.
