I hit and run on this site from time to time; life gets in the way you know?
I have some free time in the coming couple of months to have a spirited debate on some issues.
A little about me:
I have a Masters Degree from Columbia (ooh ahh, that and $2 will get you on the subway)
I have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry (I left because of the unethical practices I saw)
I am now a partner in a Recycling company located in Tennessee.
For only being 35 years old, I've been around the block a couple of times and seen quite a few things.
I am a Republican. I vote Republican.
My issues with Democrats are that they are basically Socialists. They want to turn the USA into a Socialist country. They promote re-distribution of wealth. They promote higher taxes, which stalls the economy. They have ruined the education system in this country. Dumb people mean dumb voters who rely on the government for assistance.
I believe that the Democrats are soft on National Defense and terrorism. I believe that there are factions/governments out there that would like to see the United States wiped off the face of the earth. I will not take the stance of "It's our own fault and we should try and understand why."
I believe that we are too dependent on foreign oil. I believe we should utilize our own natural resources until other forms of energy can be brought to market on a mass scale.
That being said.....I have severe issues with the Republicans as well.
I believe in the war in Iraq and still do. I do not agree with how the war was prosecuted. For some reason, we stopped winning wars beginning with the Korean War. We have not had a victory in any war that we have been involved in since 1945.
I have a big issue with the new medicare entitlements. This will grow and grow and grow. Medicaid was started as a $1 million per year pilot program. Look where it is now.
I am pro-choice. The GOP is fucking around with this now. Leave it alone I say. This country doesn't need unwanted babies that will eventually end up living off the government coin.
I am not for amnesty for illegal aliens. We have laws. If you are here illegally...you get sent home. Plain and simple.
Bottom line is...I vote republican based on economic factors. Low taxes spur growth. Econ 101. We all know that money makes the world go round. The answer to 99 out of 100 questions is related to money.
I am open and available for all debate, and who the fuck are you comments.....Am I a neo-con??.....Will FORD and his posse jump me like Matthew Sheppard on prom night? (FORD gets a pass because he digs the Stones and he and I are cyber buds from back when the Pasture Dump had black wall paper)
Bring it on...............
