View Full Version : Liberals Did **NOT** Win On Tuesday

EAT MY ASSHOLE

And, no, this is not a facetious post, nor a post to say "Oh, well, you know, it was really the republicans who lost" (even though Howard dean admitted as much...to his credit).

The country has not swung to the left. All that really happened is there was an exchange of moderate Repubs to conservative Dems. How could you call anti-abortionist Bob Casey liberal? How you call pro-gun Dems Jim Webb or folks like Heath Shuler and Brad Ellsworth pinkos?

And some moderate repubs did do well: Chris Shays, The Governator, and Deborah Pryce held on b/c of their independence.

The country went centrist on Tuesday. We need open-minded leadership, from people with vision who are most interested in government rather than politics.

EAT MY ASSHOLE '08.

BigBadBrucie cannot understand that there is a difference between "Democrat" and "liberal".

One does not necessarily mean the other.

And now from the Grasping at Straws Dept...........

We have EAT MY ASSHOLE

No, Lounge, I didn't lose. Nor did Allen, Santorum, Warham or Brian.

The COUNTRY lost. Without Hastert at the helm of the Senate, who will permit the Mark Foleys of our government the means to enjoy their fetishes? Without Santorum a prominent public figure, what word will we have to describe the frothy mix of lube, cum and fecal matter that is often the messy, undesirable result of anal sex? Without a republican majority, how much MORE whiny and annoying will Brian sudden;y become?

I'm telling you, this is a disaster.

EAT MY ASSHOLE/Santorum '08

Because Santorum NEEDS to saty in the lexi-neo-con.

Step 1: Kick the Republicans out of the Majority.

Step 2: Kick the Republicans (DLC) out of the Democratic Party.

I love how turtlefucker posts shit like this, but then gets his panties in a wad over thread title changes.

No sense of humor when directed at him.

Classic.

I actually agree with the original post in this thread.

I might even consider voting for this Asshole dude, if he reconsiders adding Sanitorium to the ticket.

I only got pissy about the thread title change b/c it ruined the rhythm and irony of the rest of the post.

If lo those many years ago your record company had changed the lyrics of your hit to "It's okay, she's twenty-one, she's of legal aaaaage" you would've been none too thrilled either...

Okay, but when exactly did anyone in here start a LEFT WING LIBERALS HAVE WON thread?

I can't recall anyone posting anything of that ilk. If anything, it was more just "thank God we've wrestled control away from the NEOCONS"

I like many centrist Repubes ala Chuck Hagel.

It's the Darth/Dummy/Monkeyboy/DeLay/Santorum arm of the party that makes me want to vomit.

It's just nice to see some FUCKING CHECKS AND BALANCES as well as OVERSIGHT brought back to Congress.

So you go ahead and eat his asshole, counselor.

I reject his premise entirely.

And there was no rhythm to your method.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

Well. After I'm elected, it looks like SOMEBODY won't be getting a Presidential Pardon for having sex with a 17 year old back in the 80s and writing a hit single about it...

Back on subject....

There were several moderate/conservative Democrats that were elected. And I'll say it again, it was a good job of figuring out that a triangle peg doesn't fit in a square hole. You have to have a gun permit to win in the South. It's just a matter of knowing your audience. That's political science 101. So, yes in states where a liberal democrat would have prolly gotten hung, the Dem. party wised up and had moderate/conservatives win. And I don't know if Howard Dean is responsible for calling all the state Dem party heads, cause they would be the ones would be financing and backing the candidates.

I gotta agree with the original post as well. It seems the centrists movement swung to left, where in previous elections it was to the right.

Howard Dean is responsible for the fact that state party heads and funding were there in the first place.

The Clinton/DLC/Terry McUseless version of the DNC would virtually ignore entire sections of the country because they falsely believed they couldn't win there anyway. States like Montana, for example.

Dr. Dean said 1) Contest every race 2) Each state party runs their own campaigns, NOT centrally controlled by the national party. This allows the locals to run based on what they know will "play" locally. As Dr. Dean said when the whore media tried to pin him down on the gun control issue, "what works in Vermont doesn't have to neccessarily work in NYC".

So there it is. It's not complicated, but it is effective. And hopefully will be more so in 2008.

I don't know what you're laughing about. that statute of limitations ovly applies if the sexual molestation of a minor happened outside THIS country.

Why, Hard Rock, WHY could you not leave the country when you wanted to get your rocks off???

If the DNC play the game by getting moderate Republicans to switch over to being Democrat, I'm down with that.

It'll kill the liberal agenda from the inside out. By getting all of these moderate former Republicans in their party, Democrats will go farther towards the center and away from the kook views of states like Vermont.

Vermont just went from a former Republican senator (who jumped the fence because the neocons sickened him) to a self proclaimed "socialist".

So much for your theory ;)

Like I said, Vermont has kook views about the world and reality.

They should secede from the Union and allow Puerto Rico to become the 50th state.

But as I previously mentioned, we also have a true Liberal in Virginia, which was a former "DLC Mole Only" state. And in Montana, Tester is also a Liberal despite his haircut. He opposes the Patriot Act. Sherrod Brown kicked the ass of one of Ohio's corrupt Republicans, and the state rejected Diebold's favorite poltician Uncle Tom Blackwell.

It's not "conservatism". It's not moderate Republicans running as Democrats, though some who define themselves that way no doubt voted for them.

Which only proves that Michael Moore was right all along, when he said that the core values of most Americans are overwhelmingly..........

LIBERAL!!!

Not true at all, FORD.

If they were, six of seven states would have denied the gay-marriage amendments. All but Arizona overwhelmingly passed the bans.

Most Americans are social conservatives and still have that Puritan blood in their veins, at least until Bush signs the amnesty bill the Democratic congress will pass soon.

The ACLU/socialist agenda was shot down this election.
