Mel was elected to the Senate in 2004. Meaning his term doesn't end until 2010. If Jeb gets to name Mel's replacement, just think of the possibilities.....

Cruella Harris comes to mind immediately. Voters rejected here unquestionably. Which makes her the perfect BCE appointee.

Mush Limpdick or Matt Drudge?? Not qualified for the job, but then when has that ever stopped the BCE from appointing anybody.

Worse yet, Jeb could appoint himself, as a lame duck governor.

Or there's always AssVibe ;)

This because this twit QUITS to take a job in the private sector [RNC], the fucking Governor gets to appoint someone?

Total bullshit.

Forgot about Pedopholey. Yeah, that sounds like someone the BCE would love to promote.

The only reason I left Anndrew Coulter off the list was because of "her" current legal problems. Can't exactly vote Bolton into the UN from jail, can s/he?

Well, Mel accepted.

Yeah, and apparently he's going to STAY in the Senate.

Well if that's legal, then I have only one thing more to say.....

DEAN 2008!!!!!

I'd love to see Dean run in 2008. He'd get mopped up by any of the top three Republican candidates.

Dean won't run in 2008. No chance...

Me thinks he likes the podium that he has been given. He's pissed of a lot of people on the left as well.

He's all yours, Dave!

He hasn't pissed off anyone on the left.

There's nothing remotely "left" about Mary Matalin's babbling bald husband or that Mossad plant Rahm Immoral.

But us real Democrats are very happy with the results of Dean's leadership. And I still say he would be a great President. If not in 2008, then perhaps in 2016.

It's up to you to determine who the "real Republicans" are. But it's not rocket science to say that Abe Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt wouldn't recognize the party of the BCE as their own.
