DLR to re-issue DLR BAND - Tour Overseas '07

Backin the Summer of this year, "Alexhay" (who is legit and works closely w/ DLR) mentioned to us that DLR would be doing a re-issue of DLR Band CD with a few new songs and a few removed. He also stated that DLR might put something together w/his band and introduce the new version overseas first, and then come back to introduce to the states.

According to what Zahzoo posted on DDLR.com yesterday, it makes me wonder what DLR's plans are according to his Booking Mgmt. and the coincidence of what Alexhay told us....seems to measure up?

Could it be that DLR is doing a re-issue of DLR BAND to be in the wings for his career path, AFTER he does the Summer '07 REUNION Tour?

Best I can figure is that they already tried something on with Dave a couple of months ago, it didn't work, and we're all speculating about a reunion attempt going on right now, when in fact it's already come and gone again...

Remove some songs? Adds some songs? why remove any? Is he gonna take off the John 5 songs so he doesn't have to pay him royalties if it sells? Doesn't make any sense. They should completely re-record it and give it a better sound quality. I think I read Dave fronted the dough for the album, probably a well done demo.

International first 6 months of touring is HOPEFULLY Van Halen featuring David lee roth, which is why it's listed under Dave. Don't say it's so, Eddie! Everyone wants this reunion, and no one will see a family tour or a tour with that Journey guy.

dlr band re-issue

Hey, it's been awhile since i've posted a comment. here's where we stand on the dlr band release. there's a very strong chance that we will have a new distributor for the record and we'll have it out within the 1st qrt of 2007. the goal is to remix the record and hopefully come up with new artwork. no tour is planned in 2007 for this release. however....
get ready for summer 2007! i'm 95% sure that everyone will be very pleased that it is now finally going to happen.

Thanks alot for the information, Alexhay. Sounds like things could be looking great for Dave...and very well deserved.

It's about time! Can't wait for the remix to be re-issued. What kind of tunes will be added on the DLR Band ? Anything with the old group of musicians at the time? Like Terry Kilgore or John5 ?

If you're not at liberty to say, I apologize for asking...just thought it would be good to get some anticipation stirred up for those die-hard DLR fans to have a new CD to look forward to.

I know everyone thinks all the rumors are bullshit, but it seems like it's starting to shape up. I hope that you are right and dave does not tour off of the dlr band reissue, because he's with Van Halen!
