Good Tele's can be awesome!!! I've still never owned one but there's one inparticular that has been on my wish list for years. The only one I play on a semi-regular basis is my buddy's Buck Owens" Signature Model. It's a fun axe and has a nice, crisp tone.

I want a '72 Thinline, with the two humbuckers, natural finish, pearl pickguard, "F" hole and a maple neck. Maybe next year?

Yup, that "Buck" is definitely fun to play. Tele's have always just sounded too "thin" for me. Regardless, I still like them and especially if I find one with a nice and fat neck. I can go to town.

Thanx. I think Joe played one of everything and still does. Though the Tele seems very dominant on a lot of their recordings. I myself like to use a Tele for doubling guitar tracks when recording (ala Page)
They are perfect for adding definition to tracks....
Ya can't beat their twang.

Dunno but I've always liked "Eminence Front?" Cool Tune IMO.

When I saw them in '89 Roger played a gold Strat during the song. Regardless, nice find Ford!!!
