Does anyone think there are certain music genres in which percussion and drums should either be electronic or acoustic? Or maybe a mix of both in a single track?

Katie doesn't rattle easily. I like that.
Yes Katie I know a tad about music.
I've been playing guitar for 25 years, piano for 30, not bad on drums, bass, and I play a mean sax.
I love various types of music, and like most other people I have my favorite artists.
Would you like to play my meat whistle.
Sorry Steve... you were asking about the drums.~Only you can prevent low volume~Comment

Techno is one of the few that should maintain electronic percussion.
Katie,
I have read some of your replies and you are a big gate crasher/hijacker yourself, from time to time. I've noticed your mood swings, but...
