Holy Krap! At 84, Christopher Lee has become a Heavy Metal Vocalist!

    Check this shit out!!!!

World Entertainment News Network reports that acting veteran Christopher Lee has launched a music career at the age of 84 — releasing a CD of songs including a heavy metal track. The "Lord Of The Rings" star is convinced he is the oldest rocker to record an album.

He says of "Revelation", "I really believe that when people hear this CD they will say, 'Yes he really can sing.' And it is a unique recording. As far as I know no other man of my age has sung on an album."

And Lee believes it will be a hit with young and old fans: "This has to be something that people can connect with. You see the young will connect with the metal version of 'The Toreador March', even though it is sung in French. I'm not singing in heavy metal, but it is still heavy metal."

Watch video footage of Christopher Lee performing the "heavy metal" version of "The Toreador March" with the London-based punk/ska band INNER TERRESTRIALS at the above link.

Lee has no plans to take his music on tour — insisting, "Not at my age. I don't think I could go through that. I couldn't possibly get up and sing these songs in a live show — my voice would probably be affected."

Wasn`t he supposed to be appearing with Manowar at a German festival last year for a live DVD shoot?

He was going to narrate Orson Welles parts for "Dark Avenger" and "Defender".

I seem to remember an announcement but never read any reviews of the gig or DVD.

It's quite possible, as his stint on music began with Rhapsody's 'Symphony of Enchanted Lands Part II', at the same time Manowar began to manage Rhapsody and created the Magic Circle Music thingy.

Here's the link for the band's official site:

Official website of the Italian symphonic power metal masters Rhapsody Of Fire. Check their new album "The Eighth Mountain" and follow them on tour.

It sucks even more than the VH official site 'coz they had to change their name to Rhapsody of Fire due to copyright issues:

                        Cheers !:bottle:

No sonny boy I am not your mommy. But I might have known your mommy back in the day lol.....

Apparently it is a full album. Only the one song is a metal song I believe.

Go hunt around the website where the video is posted. It is, after all a Christopher Lee fan site and will have all the relevant information.
