The Sweet Side of Revenge is that those CVH songs belong to DAVE and the only way we want to hear them......The sisters could never go out on tour and do the songs justice, without Dave.

Dave kicked MAJOR ass when I saw him at The Kahuna in Wilmington, DE in June of '06! I was right up front.

He whooped ass there back in '99 too. My band opened for him at a show called XFest '99. I got to talk with him for a short bit after our set and he was entirely cool! Not what I was expecting. Actually I really didn't expect to meet him at all. Just sorta happened. He was really down to earth and complimented my band on our set. We did one cover at the end of our set, How Many More Times by Zep and I kicked a drum solo at the end. He said "Man I had to look twice to make sure that wasn't Zeppelin up there and you are one drummin' mother fucker!" Needless to say I about fuckin' fainted. I just tried to keep my shit together and just thanked him and said it was a priviledge to be part of the show and what a huge fan of old Van Halen I was. He says" Thanks man, so am I" and that was about it. Shook hands and he went on and kicked ass!

Their bus was bad ass too!

Bullshit. Dave and Ed need to be together and with the exception of the 2004 tour, there is no way that the band in those videos is better than VH live. Nobody was better than VH live. Even on the Cherone tour the band was tight as hell.

Dave will go on as the Legend he created for himself. His humor and character and brilliance was the driving force of VH - so apparent in these videos of his stellar performances.

Take that away and you have some talented musicians WITHOUT a leader or a direction on stage and in life ???

I still hope that EVH would fulfill Wolfie's dream of getting the ROTH-era back on the road.

I assume now that EVH is out of rehab, they have to go back to the drawing board, get a plan together and try to sell themselves to another Tour Promoter or go back to Live Nation with something viable....I think EVH needs incentive to stay clean and this would be the ticket.

Well E.... you gotta admit to at least this much....

Eddie was playing so horribly on Velveetapalooza 2004 that there's no question Brian was playing the songs better that year.

Hopefully the Eddie we see next summer will be as good as he was on the VDIII tour, if not better.
