What would be totally cool is if VH filmed a high definition concert video this summer!!! I was too young to see classic VH perform live, and the grainy YouTube videos don't do the band justice. Production values and what an audience expects have gotten a lot higher since Dave performed with Van Halen, so I'm really excited to see what this show is going to look like... having it immortalized in hi def would be super cool. And in case you haven't seen it, go get the Queen and Paul Rodgers DVD... it's awesome! Yeah, it ain't Freddie Mercury, but it's still good and the DVD really captures a first class stage production.

I am 110% against Queen without Freddie Mercury. But a DVD from this would be pretty cool. I'd still prefer a remastered Oakland '81 DVD, though

Let's not put the go-cart before the horse.

I love peeps talking new albums, concerts, DVDs, blah, blah.....

All we have is Ms. Porno's press release claiming an upcoming tour.

DLR, MiA, Wolfie, and hell, spED himself may or may not be involved.

:gulp:

I saw Velvet Revolver on High Def Net last fall, the production was unbelievable. Night and day between HD and regular film.

The production on that vid is what I'm talking about. Really cool how they did it. Of course the quality in HD and 5.1 srs is at another level.

Hey, I love Stone Temple Pilots. I do think Velvet Revolver is a second-rate STP, though...

Shit, I can't even stomach Guns 'n' Roses Anymore either...buddy of mine went to see the show in Chicago, and Axl didn't go on stage until 11:20pm...so many people had to leave...work morning the next morning.

Axl Rose is one person that makes Eddie look nice.
