ELVIS

No...

I also don't think it was necessary to start a thread about something you already know the answer to...

Not to mention it's a dupe...

Well, there are about thirty shitty threads in this Main, why not another one.

And they might throw Dave a bone, you never know, but Wolfie could never handle the chops.

You saying Wolfie couldn't havdle the bass on She's My Machine ??

No, I can't see Ed's ego allowing that.

Plus, with 6 albums of great material to choose from, would anyone want Dave solo-era as well?

They should play "It's Showtime" from ALAE.

Sounds like a Van HALEN song anyway, so why not.

It's never gonns happen though is it?

However, if after the CVH thing is done, and Dave's profile is rasied, might he consider dipping into his own back-catalogue on his next solo tour?

I don't think they will....but even worse...what if Ed wanted to play some Van Hagar?

Dave or Sammy, Wolfie or Mikey, Van Halen will never be that good again...

You really think that was good?

ELVIS

Yeah...

I don't care for the singing but the band is tight, the guitar is grate, and the bass, drums and backup vocals are all very good...

Because Dave can't sing it, that's why not.

This tour is gonna be embarrasing.

I would like to see Ed play Yankee Rose ... if there was ever 1 song that would be the one right there ...

My insider, The Fag, told me they're gonna play I'M EASY and EXPERIENCE. The set will open with EXPERIENCE...and they're apparently closing the set with the classic FEELS SO GOOD.

Awesome.

Van Hagar played Hag's solo manure...why shouldn't they some Roth solo....FUCK Page/Plant played Plant solo material...even some FUCKING Coverdale/Page....

Atomic Dyver

They should play a minimum of 5 DLR classics to make up for the years of pansy-ass drivel served up by head velveeta master Sammy "the lump" Gaygar.

that would be a real test of the Van Halen Bros....to actually play a Dave solo song.....
The problem is...if they play a Dave song , he will probably have to recripicate with a Van Hagar tune.....yechhhhh

Atomic Dyver

No there can be no Van Hagar songs.....they owe us a few Dave classics to make up for putting us through years of crap.

They just have to play No Big 'Ting and Cheatin' Heart Cafe.

Mezro...Ed can make the "dum, dum, dum, dum, dum" sound with that short stack he calls a tongue...

No I don't think it will happen because there will be some lame ass reporter writing a stupid review that will say that DLR's solo songs were good but they sounded better with Steve Vai way back when. That will set Ed off and we don't need anything like that to happen on a pontentially combustible situation as it is.
