Far as main goes these days (or at any point when Eddie actually gets up off his duff and DOES something), the Army becomes, in part, a magnet for fly-by-night dipshits, most of whom thankfully fuck off after the current hype dies down.

Rest of the time, it's sacred ground where the true believers sit around the campfire, passing around tales of the days when the legends used to be true...and how it could still be, "if only..."

It's kind of a different animal, depending on which species of animal finds it.

Without a doubt, certain species will start sniffing piles of shit when they find it. This behavior usually denotes some sub-Freudian flameathon to come.

Other species will react like a prarie dog...poke their head out, then back in. This behavior is what is most commonly referred to as the "semi-offended-dipshitophobe."
