A Song of Ice and Fire
Definitely not Harry Potter, but I finished "A Feast For Crows" last week.
I can see why they call him the American Tolkien.
I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy the upcoming book since it seems to be just "Feast" with the other characters who weren't in this last book.
