... this all is just a genius PR stunt ?
it is dark
Velvet Revolver enters stage
spot light on Slash
the killer riff of Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love starts flooding the hall
"I Have a News, Baby !" roars from the speakers
a fully flooding light explosion blinds everybody
when your eyes finally recover from the visual blast, you notice maybe about a dozen people farming around on stage while the song is still pumping in full steam, until four more powerful spotlights slice their ways through the foggy scene. It's Dave, Ed, Alex & Mike on stage, rocking their asses off, being tremendously supported by Velvet Revolver, (beats me, even Sammy could do some background vocals and Wolfie could slam his bass) they just keep rocking and cannot let go before half an hour is gone and the crowd is getting exhausted ... Dave takes a deep breath ... "now how was that for Rock'n'Roll ?" ... audience instantly freaks out, chanting for more encores ... Dave puts on his ever so smartly knowing smile and charms into the mic: "That's what we're here for, but unfortunately we cannot do it tonight, so see all of you out there on the road again, later this year !"
:killer: :killer: :killer:
/me wrenches myself into the double coated asbestos suite, ducks and runs for cover
