In the tradition of classic posters who seem to do nothing but try and promote themselves such as WARF, Douglas T., Cato, Bueno Bob, Dan, Flappo, Golden AWe and - possibly :cato: - Imapus Sylicker (that dirty scoundrel), I suddenly remembered one of my masterpieces from YEEEEEEARS ago - Club Beer's (http://www.clubbeer.co.uk/) guides on how to get drunk successfully.

That's right, guideS. 'Coz there's two of 'em. One for getting drunk in me funtastic shitty cuntry, and one fer festivals. Keep in mind, though, that the aforementioned were written, as previously stated, years ago, and my writing & wit have obviously improved very many since then. Depending on the point of view, that is.

The latter is actually more of a compiled diary of all the festivals I've been through than a guided, but it does provide some useful hints on how to remain CONSTANTLY DRUNK and yet not miss a single event/performance.

I remember in the early eighties i used to get drunk around the whole Algarve region for the price of a pack of cigarettes !

And of course i don't remember that, but i found some of the old bills.

Ah, but those were happier times, Wa. Nowadays, I have to rely on the kindness of people who have already noticed that I actually moved to Albufeira and am not a tourist to score free drinks.

Times are indeed worse & worse... at least as far as boozing is concerned - and that my friend, is the ONLY concern that concerns me.

But did I mention that whores go for 20-30 Euros nowadays? Not all's bad, it seems. Supply & demand, go figure.
