Definitely an ID-10-T error. Call tech support. I charge $35 for initial diagnostics, and $55 for a general service restore. :D

Don't laugh - I got a wall covered with certs, my own computer shop, and I advertise. :D

Everytime this happens in my computer, it's always the AV channel that somehow got muted.

Try opening the volume properties and check the WAV volume.

Basic, my arse. I once went so far as to reinstall my sound card drivers too, before I even thought about it.

Cheers! :bottle:

Are you sure the speakers are working? Do you have another set you could try? If not, try to plug in a set of headphones and see if you have sound.

Otherwise...

You might have a severe ID-10-T error.

Uh, Ozzy, ID-10-T errors usually don't manifest themselves to the end user. It generally takes a computer tech to diagnose them. :D But, it still could be something else. Viruses can - but generally don't - cause this type of error. Did you install any sort of media player recently?
