Ever wondered how the universal studios jaws ride worked. When they drain the water for maintenence it kinda ruins the magic of the ride

Looks like a bitch to fix when water is in the tank. Lots of dangerouse shit to get tangled up in. They could change the ride and call it Industrial Accident. Watch the scuba diver get his arm ripped off by the Jaws machine and turn the water blood red.No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

The fuckin thing broke when we were on it.
We sat there for like 1/2 hour while our 'tour guide' made really, really bad jokes...
Good times all around!

Compared to the "progressive" nature of the rest of Universal Studios, the "Jaws" ride is a relic from a bygone era.

The Universal Studios website still has it there as an attraction.
Besides, its not really a "ride", more of an attraction that comes by as part of the Universal Studios tour that they take you on. I'm glad its still there -- its a part of cinematic history and young kids today still enjoy it, even if us old-timers are way passed the Jaws scare thing.
