Not really an entire album I like, just certain tracks from various CDs...

'78 - Totally hot - A little More Love
'81 Physical - title track
'85 Soul Kiss - Darling you were great, how was I
'88 - Rumor - Haven't listened to that one in awhile.

And of course, Grease.

She's strong though; I think she fought breast cancer and released new music recently.

Yep... he's still missing.

Olivia has been around forever, she was also a country singer
in the 70's, I believe she had some success in the US
at that time. One of those women who didnt age for
50 years..

They are too. Both are the organization of sound over time:

muˇsic /ˈmyuzɪk/

Pronunciation[myoo-zik]

–noun

1. an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.
I think both Olivia and Zep fit that description.;)

And I didn't know music had an actual heirarchy. Let me guess, here Roth and Roll is #1. If it's not, it's out.

Really, on that description any form of speech would qualify as "music": a general conversation involves the expression of ideas and emotions through rhythm and sound Steve, and a lot of people use "colorful" language, if even you yourself refrain from doing so.

It's been a few years since I've seen it (like, 23 at least), but I'll try to recap...

It's set two years after the events of the first movie. Frenchie goes back to Rydell and there's a new student named Michael (Maxwell Caulfield) who looks her up - his older cousin is Sandy.

So, first day of school, he falls totally head over heels for the leader of the Pink Ladies, Michelle Pfeiffer's character (can't remember her name offhand), but she doesn't want anything to do with a nerd like him, she wants a biker who's better than any of the other T-Birds (who have basically degenerated into a bunch of retards, more or less).

Anyway, Maxwell Caulfield begins doing homework for pay for the T-Birds, and he uses his money to buy himself a motorcycle, leather and goggles (to hide his identity). At first he can't ride or anything, but he starts getting the hang of it with Frenchie's help...

Right as this is happening, the T-Birds' rivals are raising hell at the bowling alley and making mince meat of the T-Birds (interesting to note that the leader of the T-Birds' rivals was the same guy who played the leader of of the Scorpions in the first Grease, but it was a different role). Michael (in disguise) shows up and kicks their asses, so Michelle Pfeiffer's character falls in love with him - which pisses off the leader of the T-Birds, her ex-boyfriend (whose played by Adrian Zmed). He promises revenge for stealing his ex-girlfriend's heart and showing up the T-Birds...kinda goes on from there until the final battle between the T-Birds, the rival bikers, and the mysterious biker)...

The whole thing has a Superman vibe to it, as Michelle Pfeiffer doesn't have any real interest in nerdy Michael but is head over heels for the mysterious rider - she eventually starts figuring out that maybe Michael isn't half bad, mirroring the whole "Lois Lane" reaction; in fact, if I remember correctly, at one point Michael asks her if she's ever read a Superman comic, just to draw it out in case you were missing it anyway.

Frankly, I thought the story behind Grease 2 was the more engaging of the two movies; Maxwell Caulfield is easily likeable, Adrian Zmed did his role to near perfection and Michelle Pfeiffer was, of course, great. I don't honestly understand all the hatred towards it, other than fan loyalty to John Travolta and Olivia Newton John...short of that, it's a decent movie.
